Drivers For This Year
Oscar Piastri won the latest F1 race at the 2024 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Starting from second, he overtook Charles Leclerc on lap 20 and managed to hold onto the lead
despite intense pressure. Leclerc finished second, while George Russell secured third place after
a dramatic collision between Sergio Perez and Carlos Sainz in the final laps, which took them out of
the race
This was Piastri's second win of the season, and his performance, along with teammate Lando Norris'
?strong drive, helped McLaren overtake Red Bull in the constructors' standings.
